The Troy Boys
Wed, May 16 - 9:00 pm

When the members of The Troy Boys met for the first time on their shared floor of an Ithaca College dorm tower, they had no intention of starting a music group. They found they shared a passion for classic rock, but it was only when they moved into a house on Troy Road that their infatuation with bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and other major musical influences during the 1960s and 1970s lead them to start a rock band. The friends soon found themselves with instruments in their hands, passionately playing music with their unique late 1960s psychedelic pop/rock style. The group has played around the town of Ithaca at venues such as the Haunt and Porchfest, and they are currently independently recording an album.
